In May 1606, Portuguese-born navigator Pedro Fernandes de Queirós, sailing under the Spanish Crown, arrived at what he believed was a great southern continent (now known to be part of Vanuatu).
There, he made a prophetic declaration in the name of King Philip III of Spain:
“La Austrialia del Espíritu Santo”
“The Southern Land of the Holy Spirit”
This was a cry of destiny.
It’s time to start moving in faith again.
Australia was named under the banner of the Holy Spirit.
Let’s live like it.
